Renaissance Theaterworks was founded in 1993 by Suzan Fete, Marie Kohler, Raeleen McMillion, Jennifer Rupp and Michele Traband. They recognized a gender imbalance within professional theater, and sought to correct it by producing excellent theatrical work while actively promoting the careers of other women in professional theater.

At the Leonard E Parker Center for Gravitation, Cosmology and Astrophysics, we push the frontiers of astrophysics through the novel use of observation, theory, and computation. By bringing together expertise in gravitational physics, astrophysics, and computing, we can address scientific challenges in relativistic astrophysics, gravitational-wave astronomy, particle astrophysics, galaxy formation, and cosmology.
We like theater. We decided there were enough shows that we wanted to see produced that we would try our hand at them ourselves. Shows that make us think or feel, revel or rebel, or just turn the corners of our mouth one way or the other.
After seeing and playing for a time, we were theater-ed, we spent some time getting some Theater Ed, and now we are Theater Red.
